TACK, KRISTIINA

Da tre anni ormai il Treviso Comic Book Festival è diventato internazionale.
Il primo passo in questa nuova dimensione è stato mosso nel 2011 con la mostra "Svezia Laboratorio d'Europa", che ha sancito questo passaggio, subito registrando un grande successo di pubblico, di consensi tra gli operatori del settore e con una forte eco da parte dei media.
L'ottima riuscita del progetto, ospitato nella prestigiosa cornice di Palazzo Bomben della Fondazione Benetton, è stata resa possibile grazie alla sinergia tra il festival e la Serieteket, la biblioteca del fumetto interna alla Kulturhuset (Casa della Cultura) di Stoccolma e alla sua responsabile, Kristiina Kolehmainen.
Kristiina, oltre ad essere stata una bibliotecaria illuminata, fondatrice appunto della Serieteket che ha condotto per quindici anni con successo, è stata anche per quattordici anni direttrice e creatrice dello Stockholm SPX (Small Press Expo), festival dedicato al fumetto che si svolge ogni anno ad aprile all'interno della Kulturhuset, e che dal 2012 è divenuto lo Stockholm International Comics Festival.
Kristiina ci ha lasciato un anno fa, dopo una lotta contro un male che pensavamo ormai sconfitto: la sua dipartita ha lasciato un vuoto profondo in chiunque abbia avuto modo di conoscerla, fossanche da un punto di vista meramente professionale. La sua carica di energia e vitalità, il suo entusiasmo erano contagiosi, come la sua competenza, disponibilità e gentilezza. Non saranno dimenticati.
Domenica 14 ottobre 2012 ha chiuso i battenti la mostra "Aotearoa: Nuvole dalla Nuova Zelanda": anche quest'anno il festival e con esso l'esposizione ospitata a Palazzo Bomben ha confermato e implementato il successo di pubblico della precedente edizione. Nonostante la nazione ospite fosse diametralmente opposta come coordinate geografiche alla Svezia, il pensiero di Kristiina ha accompagnato tutte le fasi dell'evento, dai primi contatti fino all'allestimento.

Three years ago the Treviso Comic Book Festival has become international.
The first step into this new dimension has been moved in 2011 with the exhibition "Sweden Laboratory of Europe", which established this step, just recording a great success, a consensus shared by visitors and professional operators, and a strong echo from the media.
The great success of the project, housed in the prestigious Palazzo Bomben of the Benetton Foundation, has been made possible thanks to the synergy between the festival and the Serieteket, the comic library inside the Kulturhuset (House of Culture) in Stockholm and its responsible, Kristiina Kolehmainen.
Kristiina, in addition to being a lit librarian, founder of Serieteket, that she succesfully led for fifteen years, she's also been the creator and creative director of the Stockholm SPX (Small Press Expo) for fourteen years: a festival dedicated to the comic taking place every year in April inside the Kulturhuset. SPX has become the Stockholm International Comics Festival in 2012.
Kristiina has left us a year ago. Her passing has left a deep void in anyone who has had the opportunity to meet her, even from purely professional point of view.
Her full of energy and vitality, enthusiasm were contagious, as her expertise, availability and kindness. She will not be forgotten.
Sunday, October 14 2012 closed down the exhibition "Aotearoa: Clouds from New Zealand" hosted at Palazzo Bomben. The event confirmed and implemented the public success of the previous edition.
Despite the host nation was diametrically opposed to Sweden as geographical coordinates, the thought of Kristiina has accompanied all stages of the event, from the initial contact right through staging.
